A complete guard dog, the Bandogge Mastiff breed is used by many security forces around the world.

Historical

Produced as a hybrid of the American Pitbull Terrier and Neapolitan Mastiff race, the Bandogge race has been the center of attention throughout history thanks to its strong and solid body structures. Despite being a very young breed, Badogge Mastiff dogs, which have been used for different purposes since the first day they were produced, are especially preferred by security forces.

The Bandogge Mastiff breed was first produced in 1960. This breed, which was started to be produced by a veterinary clinic called Swinford, was set as one goal while it was being produced: “To reveal the best guard dog ever.”

Moving towards this goal, the producers managed to come up with a very strong and impressive dog.

Weight – Dimensions

Bandogge Mastiff dogs can reach up to 63 kilograms in males and 40 kilograms in females. Their length varies between 63 and 73 centimeters.

Average Life Time

The crossbreeding of Bandogge Mastiff dogs, which have a lower life span compared to other dog breeds, causes their lifespan to decrease. They have an average life of 10 years.

Personality

Bandogge Mastiff’s race has very high intelligence. These dogs, which can easily understand everything, can be easily found in very important tasks thanks to their intelligence. As seen in all Mastiff breeds, Bandogge Mastiff dogs also have a desire to dominate other dogs.

This breed, which has a very different character, is not a suitable choice for animal lovers that feed dogs for the first time because of their dominance. Serious experience is required in his education.

Although not produced for fighting, these dogs, which can be very aggressive when needed, are illegally fought in some countries. Having a very strong body makes the Bandogge Mastiff breed a very successful guard dog.

Care

Bandogge Mastiff dogs, which are not very active indoors, are suitable for apartment life if they are regularly and correctly exercised. You may need to exercise at least 2 hours a day.

Between Children

Thanks to its protective instincts, the Bandogge Mastiff race, which is very kind to children, can easily live with the children.
