Unlike ordinary cats, interesting and strong cats that are not afraid of water: American Keuda

The American Keuda breed, which started to be produced in the 1980s, started to be reproduced in shelters for the first time by crossing more than one species. In the American Keuda race, the origin of which is the USA, durability is at the forefront due to the continuous controlled production. Although it was produced for the first time in 1980, the American Keudas, which were not recognized as a new breed until 2002, is still not fully recognized even today.

Size – Weight

American Keuda cats have the potential to reach different weights based on their diet. This cat breed can have weights ranging from 3 kilograms to 8 kilograms. When it is fed properly, it continues to grow in a medium-size, very athletic.

The most important feature of American Keuda cats, which have characteristics similar to Egyptian Mau cats, is that they love to play in the water. American Keudas, who are quite good swimmers, do not give aquarium fish at home comfortably because of these features.

Kuda cats, which are very easy to comb and maintain, can have very healthy hairs by combing once a week. Also, you can wash your cat, who loves to bathe, once a month. However, it is recommended that you do not wash unless necessary.

American Keuda cats, which are not very clever but very active, can entertain themselves. This cat breed, which can have a good time with a simple toy, does not want any special attention.

One of the most common characteristics of American Keuda cats is that the owner insistently wants to go with him while he is in the shower. Apart from that, American Keudas who love to run and be active can also be given walking training with a leash.

Since this cat breed loves water, you can take a bath every few months. However, for the general health of your cat, bathing is not recommended unless it is mandatory. As long as the American Keudas are combed regularly, their feathers do not need to be shortened.

American Keudas, who are extremely strong in health and endurance, rarely get sick if their vaccines are given regularly.
