Akbas which has a history dating back 3000 years, Although seen frequently in Turkey’s western regions, adopted a very rare breed. This breed, which was carefully produced by the shepherds to have a white color, was used for protection against wolves and similar wild animals.

This is a deeply rooted historic race, not only in Turkey, is preferred in many European countries. These dogs, which are especially interesting because of their durability, are a very good choice for shepherds because they can live in cold climates.
